RPC over HTTPS is a secure method of connecting to Exchange servers over any internet connection. This method also gives you flexibility to connect to the exchange server without the need of a VPN connection. RPC over HTTP allows you to use full exchange client functionaly.

This method is included in all hosted Exchange plans free of charge. This is recommended for most companies.

In some cases RPC over HTTPs is not a suitable method of connectivity with Exchange Servers. VIRE Technologies offers Site to Site VPN connection between our Data center and the client site. IF this method is choosen the connection to the exchange server will only be possible if the VPN is active.

IMAP access is included in all Exchange Hosting plans. IMAP is only used for accessing your inbox it does not allow the clients to use full exchange functionality.
